Gavin has 22 years of executive search experience and 8 years of career mentoring, career transition and interview coaching experience through The Job Mentor.
His career in Executive Search has encompassed running equities businesses for three major boutique headhunting firms and placing front office equity professionals from Managing Director level to Analyst Level across the globe.

A major part of the business, when not focusing on mid-level/senior individuals in a career transition mindset, is the graduate and pre-graduate university community. Gavin believes wholeheartedly that graduates have historically lacked the correct, bespoke advice at the "launch point" of their careers (encompassing the first two years of working) and hence often miss out on the correct career start or enter an industry that is not suited to their skills, character and aims.
David is a highly regarded executive who has worked for more than 35 years across many elements of the international finance, corporate and education sectors.
His experience gained from core employment alongside senior roles in philanthropy, ESG strategy development, investor relations, technology and business management have given him a plethora of industry knowledge and connections, and he is keen to pass this on to improve career outcomes for clients of TJM.
David holds a Certificate in Counselling Skills, and he has a proven track record with clients achieving improved outcomes after coaching sessions. He uses a structured approach to ensure clients are able to focus their skillsets in order to achieve career and educational targets and find the right future role.
